Caterpillar 3208 Zinc Anode 6L2289 (16mmx76mm) Replacement 9-005 from Marine Energy Systems is anode-only hardware (no plug). It replaces Caterpillar 6L2289 and is used on Caterpillar 3208 diesel marine engines configured with the 4W-9164 Heat Exchanger.
This zinc anode measures 16 mm in diameter by 76 mm long and is designed for the Heat Exchanger 4W-9164, which has 1 of these anodes (16mm diameter) - Starboard Side, bottom of the bonnet and 2 x 6.
