Anode with plug (1/2" NPT): Caterpillar 3208 for CAT 6L2288 (9-199). Type: Anodes. Brand: ANCOR Marine Products (Made In Italy). This zinc anode features a Brass plug and a 1/2" NPT thread, designed for Caterpillar marine engines. For anode only, use 9-004*. The 9-004 is 7/16UNC so will not fit the original Caterpillar plug which takes 3/8UNC. You can use this anode in place of John Deere RE5499.
